SWACES

CBWY’s culture defines who we are, what we believe in, and what we work hard to accomplish. Our culture is evident in the way that we interact with each other and within our community. CBWY genuinely cares about our employees, and works to facilitate an environment to help them realize their goals, dreams, and support their passions. One of the ways that we foster our culture is through a weekly meeting to support and recognize each other for upholding our culture in every action and interaction we have with each other and our community. We call this meeting SWACES, an acronym for our culture statements.

Our People Make CBWY the Best

Our People Make CBWY the Best

There are a lot of perks to working for CBWY, such as a fully stocked break room with free fruit and coffee, wellness reimbursements, an amazing volunteer program, and much more. While perks are nice, it’s not why we’re the best. We have the best people and leaders who believe in our culture. A Culture Stronger than COVID-19

A Culture Stronger than COVID-19

In late March we were thrown into a world of uncertainty. Our events, community fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities were disintegrating all around us. We began to brainstorm, ask ourselves important questions, and found answers. We knew we needed to help our businesses and nonprofits. We needed to bring positivity and cheer to the community. We needed to support those on the frontlines, and so we did. We came up with a multitude of campaigns while focusing on customer and employee safety.

Shop Local Holiday Gift Guide

Shop Local Holiday Gift Guide

The holiday shopping season is upon us. Make holiday shopping easier by starting with a plan, this allows you to research where to shop and what to buy. Start by writing a list of every one you want to buy gifts for and set a budget.  Setting a budget that works with not only your plan but with your wallet is key. Money spent by shopping at local businesses is more likely to go back into the community. The more money that stays in the community means better schools, better roads and more support for local nonprofit organizations, police and fire departments. As a way to help we have put together a Shop Local Holiday Gift Guide, that has something for everyone on your list. Discover the best presents for Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, the kids or anyone else, while you shop local and stay on budget.

The Importance of Community Banking
